Most people suck at “Time Management”

Here’s why…. They are focused on the “Time” part and not the “Management” part.

Remember, time can’t be managed because time can’t be fired.

Our clients who learn to THRIVE with regards to how they approach time management do so because they stay tied to the strategy of managing their time, not the tactics.

What does that mean? MOST people are looking for time management skills/tips/tricks because they feel like they don’t have enough hours in the day to get everything done that they want or need to get done. They are constantly being pulled in a bunch of different directions or they spend all day dealing with unexpected interruptions.

This typically leads to them not getting anything of importance done as they are just waiting around for the next fire to put out. That is a tactical approach (and a pretty crummy one I might add) to trying to get things done.

Strategically speaking, our best clients figure out what THEY want to accomplish and then set up their calendar in a way that virtually guarantees they will get everything accomplished in a given day.

Unexpected emergency? No problem! Either the emergency gets pushed to the next available flex time, or whatever they were working on gets put on hold to address the emergency and then their work gets resumed or moved to the next available flex time.

Confused as to what “flex time” is? Check out the Fast Guide to Focus and learn about the 7-step process our best clients use to take a strategic approach to time management.

This proven process has been used by tens of thousands of clients over the years to experience a higher level of energy and focus in everything they do, while also working WAY less (and way less hard) to achieve exponentially greater results.
