People hate to be sold…. But they love to buy!
As sales professionals, it should be our aim to create a buying atmosphere that eliminates any feeling of tension or discomfort our prospects may experience during the sales process.
One way we can accomplish this is to shift our negative perceptions and fears of rejection into the understanding that each “no” just leads us one step closer to the next “yes”.
Think about it. Whether your selling insurance, financial services, real estate, or literally anything, even if you’re the best in your industry, it’s highly likely that you’re going to hear “No” at least as often (if not more often) as you’re going to get a “Yes”.
And that is just fine. In fact, it’s better than just fine. It’s actually great.
And once you are able to embrace that, and really mean it, your customers can rest assured, knowing that working with you means their best interests are being looked after.
This week, tune in as Roger Seip shares some tips on how we can shift our perspective to stop being afraid of “NO” and start creating a more positive buying atmosphere for our customers.
What other ways can you think of to ensure you’re creating a buying atmosphere for your clients?
